USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force junior distance runner Melissa Fuerst spoke with C2C Sarah Haas from the Air Force media relations office about the upcoming Mountain West Conference Championships, which take place on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Collindale Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colo.
Fuerst and Haas discussed the season, the junior class and the squad's expectations for the upcoming conference championships.

The 2011 Mountain West Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Collindale Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colo. Action begins at 10 a.m., with the men's 8K championship race. The women's 6K final will take place at 11 a.m.
The Falcons were also featured on the Mountain West Cross Country Championship Preview show, as members of The Mtn. (MountainWest Sports Network) staff traveled to the Academy to talk to head coach Juli Benson and senior men's captain Jim Walmsley.
