Falcons Play Three in Utah This Weekend

The Air Force men's tennis team will play three matches in the state of Utah this weekend. On Thursday, April 14, the Falcons will play at Utah State in Logan at 12 p.m. Air Force will then resume Mountain West action against Utah in Salt Lake City on Friday, April 15 at 1 p.m., and at BYU in Provo on Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m.
The Falcons are 10-9 overall and 0-3 in league play entering Thursday's match. They defeated South Dakota State, 7-0, in the home finale last Thursday. Freshman Alex Grubbs (11) and sophomore Lance Wilhelm (10) lead the team in dual match singles wins this spring, while Grubbs has a team-high 17 overall singles victories.
Utah State is 11-9 after dropping a 4-0 decision to Fresno State last Sunday. Utah, meanwhile, is 6-12 overall and 0-3 in the MWC and BYU enters the weekend with a 16-4 overall record and 3-0 mark in league play. The Cougars play New Mexico on Thursday before hosting the Falcons on Saturday.
