Falcons Close Out Regular Season at UNM on Saturday

The Air Force men's tennis team wraps up its 2010-11 regular season this Saturday, April 23 in Albuquerque, N.M. against the New Mexico Lobos. The Falcons enter the match with a 10-12 overall record and 0-5 mark in the Mountain West Conference, while the Lobos are 13-9 overall and 3-2 in league play.
Air Force, looking to snap a three-match losing streak, is led by sophomore Lance Wilhelm, who has a 10-11 record at the No. 1 singles spot this season. He is 0-5 against MWC opponents, but has lost three times in three sets. Wilhelm has also paired with freshman Steven Young to defeat two conference opponents. Senior Taylor Soster and freshman Alex Grubbs have each posted a MWC singles and doubles win this campaign.
The Falcons are in search of their first MWC victory since a 5-2 win over Utah on April 12, 2003.
