Falcons Host South Dakota State in Home Finale

The Air Force men's tennis team will play its final home match of the season on Thursday, April 7 against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on the Academy's outdoor courts, weather permitting. Admission is free.
Seniors Taylor Soster and Alex Beaussart will play their final match at the Academy on Thursday. Soster has won 38 singles matches and 59 doubles matches in his career. He played No. 1 doubles as a freshman and a junior, No. 2 doubles as a sophomore and has split time between the two spots this year as a senior. He also played the majority of his career at No. 3 and 4 singles. Following graduation, Soster will attend Unmanned Aerial Systems weapons school training in San Antonio, Texas.
Beaussart, meanwhile, has won 26 singles matches and 17 doubles matches in his career. The majority of his singles matches have been at the No. 5 and 6 positions and he won a career-high 12 singles matches last season as a junior. After spending a couple of months at the Academy helping the men's tennis team next fall, Beaussart will attend undergraduate pilot training at Columbus AFB, Miss.
The Falcons are 9-9 overall entering Thursday's match.
