Falcons Finish at DU Invite

The Air Force men's team completed action at the Denver Invitational Sunday with singles matches against the host Pioneers and doubles against New Mexico.
The Falcons dropped all eight singles matches against Denver, with sophomore Steven Young won the first set over DU's Yannick Weihs to three sets before falling, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
In the doubles matches, AFA's Stephen Katrein and LandonKinsey posted AFA's best result by extending UNM's duo of Matthew Neeld and Samir Iftikhar to a tiebreaker, losing 9-8.
The Falcons return to action on Friday, Oct. 7 at the UNM Balloon Fiesta Classic in Albuquerque, N.M.
