Falcons Fall at All-American Championships

Air Force junior Alex Grubbs and sophomore Grant Taylor were eliminated from the prequalifying draw Sunday at the 2012 ITA All-American Tennis Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Grubbs fell to Constantin Christ of Ohio State in the third round, 6-3, 6-1, while Taylor lost in the consolation round, 6-3, 6-4 to Will Davis from Michigan State.

Senior Lance Wilhelm will play in the singles qualifying draw on Monday, Oct. 1, facing Sebastian Stiefelmeyer of Louisville, ranked 13th in the bracket. 128 players are competing for 16 spots in the main draw of 64.
