Air Force fencers go international

Air Force fencers Mary McElwee and James Salem fenced in separate international competitions in Germany and Helsinki on Nov. 30.

McElwee competed in the 2013 International Fencing Tournament in Bochum, Germany. In junior women's foil, McElwee finished sixth overall among 111 international competitors.

While in Helsinki, Salem competed in the Young Lions World Cup and finished 27th overall among 150 competitors in the junior men's epee tournament, Nov. 30.
