
Air Force Falls at Army in Service-Academy Game

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Air Force women's basketball (1-4) dropped a 79-35 ballgame at service-academy rival Army (3-1) in non-conference action Tuesday night at Cristl Arena. Senior Lindsey Lewis led the Falcons with 13 points.
Guard Kelsey Minato led Army with 25 points and five assists on the night. The Black Knights shot 50.8 percent from the field and connected on eight three-point baskets.
Air Force was held to 25.4 percent shooting on the night. Junior Madeleine Philpot added seven points and senior Jimi Blagowsky chipped in with five points. Freshman Cortney Porter led AFA with six rebounds.
The Falcons return to action Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Northern Colorado.
Notes: Air Force had the same starting five (Blagowsky, Byrd, Lewis, Philpot, Porter) for the fourth-consecutive game...The Falcons dropped to 7-9 all-time vs. Army and 2-5 at Cristl Arena.
