This Week...
The Air Force wrestling team returns to action this Thursday, Dec. 11, as it travels to Laramie, Wyo., to take on WWC rival Wyoming in a dual.
Last Time Out...
Air Force placed 22nd overall in at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational last weekend. Three Falcons reached Saturday action with two placing.
Junior Josh Martinez led the way with a fifth place finish in the 125 pound weight class. Martinez went 3-1 in competition. Senior Jesse Stafford went 5-2 on the weekend to take eighth place in the 165 pound weight class.
Sophomore Jerry McGinty also made it to day two action, falling in his first bout of the day in the 149 pound class.
In the National Rankings...
The Falcons have a pair of wrestlers currently ranked by numerous wrestling publications. Junior Josh Martinez, a two-time NCAA qualifier, is currently ranked eighth by W.I.N. Magazine, Open Mat and Wrestling Report and 14th by InterMat.
Meanwhile, senior Jesse Stafford, is rated 16th in the nation at 165 pounds by Open Mat, 17th by W.I.N. Magazine, 18th by Wrestling Report and 19th by InterMat.

The Falcons are off for 18 days after the Wyoming dual, returning to action Dec. 29-30 at the Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill.
