
Falcons Play Two in Wichita This Weekend

The Air Force men's tennis team travels to the Midwest this weekend to play two matches in Wichita, Kan. The Falcons, 11-2 this spring, will face UMKC on Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m., and Wichita State on Saturday, March 15 at noon.
The Falcons, winners of five straight matches, are off to their best start since the 2002-03 season. They defeated Weber State (4-3) and CSU-Pueblo (7-0) at home last weekend. Senior Alex Grubbs led the way with a perfect 4-0 record. He is 13-6 overall in singles play and 9-1 at the No. 4 position.
In doubles, Grubbs and sophomore Jack McCullers are 10-2 overall and 9-2 at the No. 2 spot, while junior Grant Taylor and freshman Lucas Fumagalli are 10-1 overall and 9-1 at the No. 3 position.
