Falcons Tie for 10th at Border Olympics

The Air Force golf team finished in a tie for 10th place after the third and final round of the Border Olympics in Laredo, Texas. The Falcons shot an 11-over par 299 Saturday for a three-round total of 898, even with McNeese State.
Individually, senior Jack Howard became just the second Air Force player not named Kyle Westmoreland to lead the Falcons in a tournament this season. Howard shot a final round one-over par 73 Saturday to finish in a tie for 15th place with a three-round total of three-over par 219. Westmoreland finished one shot back at 220, good for a tie for 19th place, after a three-over 75 on Saturday.
Freshman Andy Germann tied for 73rd with a three-round total of 231, while senior Philip Colwell tied for 75th at 232. Freshman Sunwoo Choi finished in a tie for 91st at 243.
The Falcons return to action on Monday, March 24 at the Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore.
