Air Force completes second day at Balloon Fiesta Invitational Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M. The Falcons had two singles players and one doubles team pick up wins.
Dillon Launius came back from losing the first set at love to defeat Adi Ziberstein of Northern Arizona, 0-6, 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the consolation final of his flight. Alvaro Godoy also picked up a singles win, beating Donovan Cellupica of New Mexico State, 6-2, 0-6, 6-4. The doubles team of Launius and Godoy split two matches. They lost to Ge and Jauregui of New Mexico, 8-5, before bouncing back to Goncalves and Benitez of New Mexico State, 8-7.
The tournament concludes tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m.
