Oct. 16, 2015 LOGAN, Utah - Air Force women's soccer dropped a 2-0 match at Utah State (8-7-1, 3-4-0) in Mountain West Conference action Friday afternoon at Bell Field. The Falcons' Mountain West record is now 2-4-1 with an overall record of 4-10-1.
Utah State scored in the 27th and 68th minutes. Jayne Robison scored the first goal off a corner kick set and Jessica Brooksby scored the second goal.
Air Force had 13 shots on the night, but could not find the back of the net. Sophomore Brooke Rittmann led the Falcons with five shots, three on goal. Sophomore Angela Karamanos added three shots, two on goal.
Sophomore Alex Kahalley recorded three saves in goal for AFA. The Falcons had three corner kicks and committed just four fouls.
Air Force returns to action Sunday, Oct. 18, at Boise State.
