Mateus Arcano Posts Win at NYAC Invitational

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Senior Mateus Arcano captured a 125-pound victory on Monday, Nov. 23, as three members of the Air Force boxing team wrapped up competition at the New York Athletic Club Collegiate Invitational in New York City.
Arcano earned a victory over Lock Haven's John Fiorill, when the referee stopped the contest in the second round.
Junior Adam Sumait and senior Gytenis Borusas also competed at the New York Athletic Club this evening. Sumait suffered a loss to Aerial Guevara of UNLV at 119 pounds, while Borusas was decisioned by Navy's Reuben Druckrey at 185 pounds.
The Falcons return to action on Dec. 4 for another round of Friday Night Fights.
