
Air Force downs Montana State in men's tennis

Air Force defeated Montana State, 5-2, Saturday in a non-conference men's tennis match at the Academy. The Falcons opened the match by sweeping the doubles point. Grant Taylor and Lucas Fumgalli won 6-3 at No. 1, while Andrew Parks and Max Olson won 6-2 at No. 2. Dillion Launius and Mark Kite were 6-2 winners at No. 3
The Falcons won four of six singles matches. Taylor won 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1 while Fumagalli was a 7-5, 6-4 winner at No. 2. Olson won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4 and Launius won 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 at No. 6. The Falcons improved to 3-2 with the win.
"Today was the best we've played so far this year," Air Force head coach Dan Oosterhous said. "We started out very strong in doubles and our momentum carried through the singles. Freshman Max Olson was especially solid today and he's off to a great start in his AF tennis career."
