DeVries Named to MW Championship All-Tournament Team

Air Force sophomore Jacob DeVries was named to the 2015 Mountain West Baseball Championship All-Tournament team. The left-hand pitcher was instrumental in Air Force's epic 15-inning win over UNLV.
DeVries pitched 6.1 scoreless innings in relief for the win in Air Force's 4-3 win over UNLV on May 21. The game lasted a school and conference tournament record 15 innings. The Castroville, Texas, native allowed just two hits while striking out four. He also had a base hit as a batter in the game. DeVries also collected a pinch-hit single the following day against San Diego State.
DeVries had a standout sophomore campaign, posting a 5-5 record and 4.68 ERA. His 80 strikeouts on the season led the team and tied for the eighth most in a season at Air Force.
