Air Force baseball had four cadet-athletes earn 2014-15 Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors, announced by the conference office. It was the second-most of any team at the Academy.
Sophomore IF Russell Williams (Economics) led the way with his second scholar-athlete honor. Junior RHP Steven Trojan (Aeronatical Engineering) and freshmen Justin Graham (undeclared) and Michael Rieker (Operations Research) earned their first honor.
The MW Scholar-Athlete Award is one of the highest academic honors bestowed by the Conference. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition in a Mountain West-sponsored sport.
