
Air Force Drops 1-0 Contest To UNLV

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's soccer dropped a 1-0 contest hosting UNLV (12-3-1, 5-1-1 MW) in Mountain West action Friday night at Cadet Soccer Stadium. The Falcons moved to 6-6-2, 2-4-1 MW on the season.
It was a tough loss for the Falcons, as the Rebels scored the lone goal of the match in the 74th minute. Jordan Harden scored off a pass from Paige Almendariz at the 73:46 mark for UNLV.
Air Force had nine shots on the night. Senior Alison Skidmore, junior Brooke Rittmann and sophomore Kaitlyn Cook had two shots each for the Falcons. Sophomore Jennifer Hiddink had five saves in goal for the Falcons.
Air Force returns to action Sunday, Oct. 16, hosting Nevada as part of a soccer doubleheader with the USAFA men's team. Kickoff has been moved up 30 minutes to a 11 am MT start.
