Air Force (7-5-2, 4-2-0 AHC) travels to Worcester, Mass., for a two-game Atlantic Hockey series against the Holy Cross Crusaders (5-5-2, 2-2-2 AHC), Friday-Saturday, Dec. 2-3, at 7:05 pm ET each night from the Hart Center.

Scouting the Crusaders
Holy Cross is 5-5-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the AHC and in eighth place in the conference. The Crusaders have lost three straight. After a split with Mercyhurst, Holy Cross lost two games at the Shillelagh Tournament, falling to No. 12 Notre Dame, 5-3, and then to Yale, 3-1. The Crusaders own three non-conference wins, starting with a 2-1 overtime win over Providence. Holy Cross also has wins over Brown and No. 18 Union. Junior T.J. Moore leads the conference, and is tied for sixth in the nation, with 10 goals. Moore and Danny Lopez are tied for the team lead with 15 points. Junior Paul Berrafato has played every minute between the pipes and has a 3.14 GAA and a .896 saves percentage.
Back in the Saddle
Air Force returns to Atlantic Hockey play after two weekends of non-conference action. Air Force and Holy Cross have each played just six conference games, the fewest of any team in the league. Air Force is 4-2 in conference play and in seventh place with eight points. Air Force's last conference series came on Nov. 11-12 with a two-game sweep of RIT at the Academy by identical 4-3 scores.

Phil Boje leads the team with 13 (5-8-13) points and has scored at least one point in nine of the 14 games ... He had four points last weekend with two points against Denver (1-1-2) and two assists against Colorado College ... Boje also leads the team with 23 blocked shots and a +8 ... Series vs. the Crusaders
Air Force and Holy Cross have played 43 times and Air Force holds a 22-10-11 lead in the series that began in 1993. As Atlantic Hockey rivals, the teams have played 28 times and almost one-third of those games (nine) and have ended in a tie. Air Force leads the AHC series, 14-6-9. The teams played four times last season and split both series. Air Force's 5-1 win on Nov. 13, 2015 snapped a five-game winless skid against the Crusaders. Since 2012, Air Force is 3-5-4 vs. the Crusaders. In the last nine games played at Holy Cross, Air Force is 2-3-4. The teams have played 22 times at Holy Cross and eight of them have ended in a tie. Last Season vs. the Crusaders
Air Force and Holy Cross split four games last season as the teams split a series at the Academy and in Worcester. At the Academy, Holy Cross won the first game, 3-1, while Air Force won game two, 5-1. In Worcester, HC won the first game, 4-2, while AF won game two, 4-2. In the four games, Air Force outscored Holy Cross, 12-10, including a 6-3 advantage in the third period. Air Force was 2-for-14 on the power play while HC was 1-for-16. Jordan Himley was the Falcons' top point-producer with five points 91-4-5). Matt Serratore led the Falcons with three goals, including a shortie. Shane Starrett started all four games and had a 2.58 GAA and a .889 saves percentage. For Holy Cross, Ryan Ferrill led the team with four points (2-2-4). Michael Laffin had three goals while T.J. Moore had two goals and an assist. Paul Berrafato started all four games and had a 2.75 GAA and a .904 saves percentage.
