Miller prepares for NCAA Championships this week

Air Force junior Genevieve Miller will compete in the 2016 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, March 16-19, at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. The Winston-Salem, N.C., native will compete in the 200 free, 500 free and 1650 free events.
Miller will first swim the 500 free on Thursday, March 17. The prelims for the event will begin at 10 a.m. ET with the finals at 6 pm ET. Miller is ranked 19th in the nation in the 500 free with a time of 4:40.15. She won the 500 free title at the Mountain West championships for the third straight year.
On Friday, March 18, Miller will swim the prelims for the 200 free at 10 a.m. ET. The finals are set for 6 pm ET. She placed sixth at the Mountain West championships with a school-record time of 1:47.58.
Miller will swim the 1650 free on Saturday March 19, at 3:45 pm ET. She ranks ninth in the nation in the 1650 as she won the MW championship for the third straight season, and holds the school record, with a time of 16:01.39.
