Miller to swim at NCAAs for third straight year

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --- Air Force junior Genevieve Miller has been invited to compete at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships for third consecutive year.
Miller will swim the 500 free and 1650 free at the national meet, March 16-19, in Atlanta, Ga. Miller earned all-Mountain West honors in the 200 free, 500 free and 1650 free. She won the 500 free (4:40.15) and 1650 free (16:01.39) at the conference championship for the third straight season and set Academy and Mountain West records in both events. She also placed sixth in the conference in the 200 free with a school record time of 1:47.58. Miller has earned all-MW honors all three years.
In last season's NCAA meet, Miller placed 19th in the 1650 free and 39th in the 500 free. As a freshman, Miller placed 31st in the 1650 free and 57th in the 500 free.
Miller was named as a "Mid-Major Swimmer to Watch" by SwimSwam.com.
ESPN3.com will stream finals sessions on Friday and Saturday live. Wednesday's evening session, Thursday's sessions, along with the morning sessions on Friday and Saturday, will be streamed live on NCAA.com. Additionally, ESPNU will air a two-hour broadcast via tape delay at 7 p.m. ET, Tuesday, March 29. Live results for the championships will be available on NCAA.com
