Falcons host four matches this week

This week: The Falcons host Boise State on Friday, April 1, at Noon. The team also plays Colorado Mesa in non-conference action at 4 p.m. Air Force closes out the weekend by hosting Utah State on Sunday, April 3, at Noon, and CSU-Pueblo at 4 p.m.
Pack the house: For the first time the Air Force men's and women's tennis programs are hosting simultaneous conference matches. The Academy will attempt to break the current NCAA record of 753 fans and are trying to reach 1,000 for the Sunday matches.
"We want to break the record and get 1,000 fans to our match. The weather on Sunday looks great and fans will see some of best tennis in the Mountain West, Air Force head coach Dan Oosterhous said."

4pm: AF men vs. Mesa St and AF women vs. Mesa St

Last week: Weber State defeated Air Force, 5-2, Sunday at the Academy. The Wildcats opened the match by winning the doubles point and took four singles wins to secure the match. Air Force's lone singles wins came by Jack McCullers at No. 1 with a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win over Todd Fought and by Luke Sanderson, who defeated Scott Hintze, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

Head Coach Dan Oosterhous: Dan Oosterhous is in his seventh season as the men's tennis coach at the Air Force Academy after being named the program's 12th head coach October 1, 2009. Oosterhous, a 1993 graduate of the Academy, replaced legendary head coach Rich Gugat, who retired after 36 years at the helm of the men's tennis program. Oosterhous, one of the best tennis players in program history, has a 68-89 career record. A native of Texarkana, Texas, He is a senior pilot with over 3,100 hours in the C-5, C-21, T-38, and T-37. He has three children, Emma (18), Anna (16) and Andrew (14).
