TEMPE, Ariz. – Senior Spencer Baldwin recorded the fourth-best hammer throw distance in Academy history this evening (April 8), as select members of the Air Force track and field team competed in the first three events of the 37th-annual Sun Angel Classic in Tempe.
Improving his distance in the hammer throw by nearly 10 feet, Baldwin recorded a mark of 197'5" to finish first among 16 competitors in the open section. The senior became the first Falcon since 2013 to impact the top-five of the program's hammer throw standings.
