Miller sets personal best at Olympic Trials

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force rising senior Genevieve Miller placed 30th in the women's 400 meter freestyle at U.S. Olympic Trials at the CenturyLink Center, Monday, June 27, in Omaha, Neb. Miller swam a 4:14.97, a personal best. She entered the meet ranked 53rd in the nation and improved her ranking by 23 spots.
The native of Winston-Salem, N.C., will also be swimming the 800 free at the Olympic Trials on Friday, July 1.
Two Falcons from the men's team will also be competing at the Trials, looking for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team that will compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Rising senior Jordan Dahle will be swimming the100 free on Wednesday, June 29, and the 50 free on Friday, July 1. Rising senior Andrew Faciszewski will be swimming the 1500 meter free on Saturday, July 2.
