
Two Falcons complete competition at Olympic Trials

U.S.A.F. ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force's Genevieve Miller and Jordan Dahle completed competition at the 2016 Olympic Trials, Friday, July 1, at the CenturyLink Arena in Omaha, Neb.
Miller, a rising senior from Winston Salem, N.C., competed in her final event at the Trials, placing 29th in the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 8:48.64. Miller entered the Trials ranked 65th in the nation in the event. Miller also competed in the 400 meter freestyle on Monday, June 27, and placed 30th with a time of 4:14.97. She entered that event ranked 53rd in the nation.
Dahle, a rising senior from Salt Lake City, Utah, swam the 50 meter freestyle in 23.62 to rank 134th on Friday, July 1. He entered the meet ranked 136th. On Wednesday, June 29, Dahle swam the 100 meter free in 51.36 to place 78th. He entered the Trials ranked 95th in the nation in that event.
The final Falcon compete in the Trials is rising senior Andrew Faciszewski, who will swim the 1500 meter freestyle on Saturday, July 2. He is ranked 87th in the nation in that event.
