Meet Central: Intramural Track & Field Championships

The Air Force Academy will host its annual Intramural Track and Field Meet this week at the Cadet Outdoor Track and Field Complex. The three-day meet begins on Tuesday, Aug 23, and runs through Thursday, Aug. 25. Results, as well as any announcements regarding weather, postponements and rescheduling, will be posted below at the end of each day.

Meet Notes
Pay attention to the "Event Information", as it has specific instructions (rules/formatting) for each event
Review the names listed for the squadron relay teams. Please pay special attention to the "coed" and "mixed" relays -- the 4x100- and 4x800-meter relays must have two males and two females on the team that will be racing Thursday. Report any corrections or changes to Coach Lindeman (ralph.lindeman@usafa.edu). Changes to relay names will be accepted until COB on Wednesday
In case of lightning delays, we will attempt to catch-up, and may postpone an event until the following day. In the event of a lightning warning, everyone should quickly proceed to either the upstairs (team room) or downstairs (storage area) of the Multi-Purpose Building at the southwest corner of the track, or downstairs in the Meet Operations Building at the northwest corner of the track. Announcements will be made, regarding the restarting of competition or any alternate plans
