
Air Force With 2-0 Win at Weber State

Air Force women's soccer rolled to a 2-0 win at Weber State (2-1-1) Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Soccer Field in Ogden, Utah. The Falcons have now won two in a row on the road, improving to 2-1-1 on the season.
The Falcons had goals from senior Meredith Reisinger and junior Angela Karamanos.
It was Air Force's second consecutive 2-0 road win. The defense continued to play at a high level, as AFA did not allow a single shot on goal in the match. The Falcons have allowed just one shot on goal in its last two matches.
Sophomore Jennifer Hiddink picked up the shutout win in goal for the Falcons.
Reisinger gave the Falcons the lead with a goal in the 10th minute. Weber State failed to clear out a ball, as Reisinger took the errant pass and knocked-in the goal from 30 yards out on a shot off the cross bar.
Karamanos gave Air Force the insurance goal in the 50th minute. It was the midfielder's first score of the season.
The Falcons had a 12-7 advantage on shots and 3-2 on corner kicks.
Air Force returns home for its next three contests. The Falcons host Hawai'i on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
