Air Force Hosts Hawai'i
Air Force women's soccer begins a three-match home stand with a mid-week contest hosting Hawai'i. Kickoff, on Tuesday, Sept. 13, is 6 pm at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Free admission, video stream and live stats are available for all Air Force soccer home matches.
Last Time Out
Air Force won at Weber State, 2-0, on Sunday, Sept. 11. The Falcons got scores from senior Meredith Reisinger (10th minute) and junior Angela Karamanos (50th).
Air Force's defense did not allow a shot on goal, as sophomore Jennifer Hiddink picked up her first shutout and win in goal for the Falcons.
Series History
- Air Force defeated Hawai'i 2-1 on Oct. 31, 1996 at the Academy in the first and only meeting between the two schools.
Defense Playing Well
Air Force's defense has played excellent soccer the past two games. The Falcons have not allowed a goal over the last two matches and have allowed just one shot on goal, coming against Green Bay.
