
Falcons travel to CSU Ram Masters

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The 54-hole CSU Ram Masters will be played over two days. Golfers will play 36 holes in a shotgun start, beginning at 8:00 a.m. (MT), on Monday, Sept. 19. Pairings and tee times for the final 18-hole round, which will begin at 8:00 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 20, will be determined by team scores (four lowest individual scores) at the end of the first day. A LOOK AT THE FIELD
Sixteen teams are slated to compete in this year's tournament, including Air Force, Colorado State, Colorado, Denver, Fresno State, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts, Rice, Sacramento State, South Dakota State, Valparaiso, Weber State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
A LOOK BACK AT THE 2015 CSU RAM MASTERS
At last season's CSU Ram Masters, Colorado State won the 16-team tournament with a team score of 839 (one-under par). Air Force placed 10th with a team score of 894 (+54). Colorado State placed four individuals in the top 10 of the tournament. Air Force's top finisher was Sunwoo Choi who tied for 19th with an eight-over 218.
ABOUT THE FALCONS
The Falcons placed 11th in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Sept. 10-11, with a three-round total of 911.
Junior Todd Millard was Air Force's top individual at last week's Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, carding a three-round score of 219 (three-over par). Sunwoo Choi, the team MVP the last two seasons, shot a six-over 222. Freshman Joshua Wu posted the Falcons' lowest round of the tournament with a 69 and finished tied with Choi with a six-over 222.
A LOOK BACK AT LAST WEEK
UNLV and UTEP each shot a one-under 863 to tie for the team championship at the 48th annual Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational Golf Tournament, Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Academy's Eisenhower Blue Course. UNLV shot a four-under 284 on the final day to force the tie with the Miners. Colorado was third with a one-over 865.
COMING UP
Air Force returns to action on Monday, Sept. 26 when it travels to Boulder, Colo., for the two-day Mark Simpson Invitational.
