36 Student-Athletes earn all-MWC academic honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force placed 36 student-athletes on the 2016 Mountain West Fall Academic Team, as announced today by the conference office.
Fall sports include men's and women's cross country, football, women's soccer and women's volleyball. A league-record 614 student-athletes have been named to team.
The Air Force football team had 13 student-athletes honored, while men's cross country team had seven, women's soccer had six, while volleyball and women's cross country had five each.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
