Falcons in 10th after day two at Loyola Intercollegiate

GOODYEAR, Ariz. - With a second-round total of 291, the Air Force golf team jumped up to a tie for 10th place at the Loyola Intercollegiate, Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. Air Force was in 12th place after an opening round 290 on Saturday.
Eastern Michigan is in first place at 24-under par, 552. Connecticut is second (560) while Missouri State and Northern Illinois are tied for third (566).
Freshman Joseph Crisostomo and sophomore Turner Howe are the top Falcons with a two-day total of 144 (even par). Both Crisostomo and Howe shot 73 in the first round and 71 in the second to tie for 38th overall. Freshman Joshua Wu is 50th (146) while Anson Kuznik and Brenden Bone are tied for 52nd (147), Dane Hankamer is 60th (148) and Sunwoo Choi is 66th (149).
The final 18 holes of the three-day event is Monday, Feb. 27, starting at 7:45 a.m. MT.
