Air Force falls to Texas-Arlington

Texas-Arlington defeated Air Force, 7-0, Friday afternoon in a non-conference men's tennis match at the UTA Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas.
UTA opened the match by winning the doubles point with 6-2 victories at the top two spots. UTA swept all six singles matches, five of the six in straight sets. Freshman Mack Galvin forced a third set at No. 4 singles against Mauricio Del Rio. Galvin lost the first set, 6-4, before rallying to win the second, 6-0. Del Rio won a tie-breaker in the third, 10-3.
Air Force falls to 6-0 overall this season while Texas-Arlington improves to 11-6 overall. Air Force plays service academy rival Navy Saturday at 10 a.m. CT in Fort Worth, Texas.
