Air Force travels West for two matches

This week: Air Force travels to Washington for two matches. The Falcons play at Gonzaga Friday, March 10, at 4 p.m. PT. The team closes the weekend vs. Eastern Washington Saturday, March 11, vs. Eastern Washington in Spokane, Wash.
On the road: Air Force plays its next eight matches away from home from Friday, March 10, to Sunday, April 9.
Last week: Air Force went 2-2 during a four-match home swing. The Falcons split a pair of matches each day. Air Force beat Metro State, 6-1, and lost to Denver, 5-2, Friday, Feb. 24. The team lost to Northern Arizona, 5-2, and beat Seattle, 6-1, Saturday, Feb. 25.
Head Coach Dan Oosterhous: Dan Oosterhous is in his eighth season as the men's tennis coach at the Air Force Academy after being named the program's 12th head coach October 1, 2009. Oosterhous, a 1993 graduate of the Academy, replaced legendary head coach Rich Gugat, who retired after 36 years at the helm of the men's tennis program. Oosterhous, one of the best tennis players in program history, has a 76-101 career record. A native of Texarkana, Texas, He is a senior pilot with over 3,100 hours in the C-5, C-21, T-38, and T-37. He has three children, Emma (19), Anna (17) and Andrew (15).
