Air Force senior cadet-athletes from the football and men's basketball teams completed a group project for a senior level independent film study 499 class this semester. Weston Steelhammer, Jacobi Owens and Haji Dunn, Jr., from the football team, along with men's basketball players Hayden Graham and Zach Kocur worked together and came up with a video idea that would capture their experience at the Academy a cadet-athlete.
"We wanted to do something that could be used after we leave for people to have an idea of what the cadet-athlete experience here is like," Kocur said. "It was a lot of fun working together on it and everyone was very helpful."
The group conducted all the interviews, including being the interviewer and film crew. The group was aided by the athletic department's Falcon Vision and Chris Miller in football video productions with stock video for the editing which they completed.
The completed project has been shared with each Air Force athletic program for their use in recruiting and other areas. The video is also permanently housed on the athletics website goairforcefalcons.com.
