All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). SEATTLE, Wash. – With a unanimous decision, sophomore Jordan Garivay helped the Air Force boxing team to an undefeated weekend at the Washington Athletic Club’s Main Event in Seattle. The Falcons, who captured five event titles during Friday night’s competition, improved to 6-0 on the weekend with Garivay’s victory.

In his first-ever bout, Garivay earned a unanimous heavyweight decision over Utah’s Darron Brown.
