Falcons to Host Denver in Dual Action

The Thursday night dual is set to begin at 7 p.m.
USAFA, Colo. – The Air Force Academy men's swimming and diving team continues its home stand at Cadet Natatorium, Thursday, Oct. 25, when it hosts in-state rival the University of Denver in dual action. The meet with the Pioneers is set to begin at 7 p.m.
The evening will feature 16 events, 14 swimming and two diving. Both swimming and diving events will be streamed live on goairforcefalcons.com. The order of events is as follows.

The Falcons are coming off a 2-1 weekend in which they fell to WAC rival Wyoming, Oct. 19, before bouncing back with a pair of wins against Colorado Mesa and the Colorado School of Mines, Oct. 20. For the season, Air Force is 3-2 in dual action.
For the Pioneers, Thursday will mark their first dual of the season, as their only action thus far came at the Denver Relays, Oct. 6, in which they placed first out of three teams.
Air Force and DU met in a dual last season in Denver, Oct. 20, which turned into a close 165-135 victory for the Pioneers. The Falcons swept gold in both diving events, while then-sophomore Zach Nelson placed first in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
