Falcons fall to Denver in dual meet

The Falcons are back in action Nov. 2-3 against Grand Canyon
The University of Denver defeated Air Force, 183-114, in a men's swimming dual, Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Academy's Cadet Natatorium.
Air Force (3-3 in duals) took the top three spots on the 3-meter spring board as sophomore Cole Armagost won (306.90). Freshman Jack Macceca was second (266.55) and sophomore Jack Zocher was third (249.90)
On the 1-meter board, DU's Alex Morgan won with 261.38 points, but Air Force took the next three spots. Armagost was second (251.33), Macceca was third (247.35) and Zocher was fourth (237.38)
The Falcons won three individual events as freshman Andrew Limpert won the 200 fly (1:51.66), freshman Aaron Pang won the 100 fly (50.26) and sophomore Zachary Nelson won the 200 breast stroke (2:07.20).
Sophomore Peter Lochmaier placed second in the 500 free (4:41.78) and the 200 free (1:44.02). Freshman Isaac Gwin was second in the 100 back stroke (50.76) while Nelson second in the 100 breast (57.85).
The Falcons are back in action Nov. 2-3 against Grand Canyon at the Cadet Natatorium. Friday's meet starts at 5 pm MT while Saturday will start at 11 a.m.
