Women's Swimming & Diving Returns to Action at the Phill Hansel Invite

HOUSTON, Texas – The Air Force Academy women's swimming and diving team returns to the pool this weekend, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 16-18, for the Phill Hansel invitational, hosted by the University of Houston. Action at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will begin with prelims at 9 a.m. MT on each day and will be followed by finals starting at 5 p.m. MT Friday and Saturday. Finals will begin at 2 p.m. MT on Sunday.

Air Force will swim alongside some top teams, including host Houston, Mountain West rivals Nevada, Colorado State, and New Mexico, as well as North Texas (Divers Only), Rice, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Northern Colorado, Washington State, and Incarnate Word.

This will be the second time this season the Falcons are swimming in Houston, as they attended the Rice Invitational earlier this year. There, they placed third with 654.5 team points. Last season at the Phill Hansel Invite, Air Force took fifth in the 10-team field, finishing with a team score of 647.
