
Tucker Bone and Austin Dewing Earn All-America Honors

Air Force men’s soccer receives two All-America nods for the second-straight year
USAF Academy, Colo. - United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday evening the association's 2018 NCAA Division I Men's All-America Teams. Co-team captains Tucker Bone and Austin Dewing were two-of-36 athletes to receive the national honor. Bone received his second-straight first-team nod while Dewing was added to the third-team.
Bone and Dewing helped lead the Air Force men's soccer program to its most successful season to date with a program-record 17 single-season wins and a perfect 10-0 home record en route to the team's second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and a visit to the Sweet 16 round. The pair of seniors also helped lead Air Force to its second-straight Western Athletic Conference regular-season title. Bone led the squad with 32 points from 13 goals and six assists while Dewing was second with 29 points from 12 goals and five assists. The duo combined for nearly half of all goals scored on the season. They were both first-team All-Far West Regional selections.
Bone and Dewing are the Falcons' senior-most veterans with Bone making 68 career starts in 81 matches played while Dewing has played in 78 career matches with 49 starts. The pair impacted the Air Force career record books this season as Dewing is now 10th in the all-time points category with 77, while Bone is tied for 13th with 73 career points. Bone's 22 career assists ties for seventh on the all-time assists list.
Bone and Dewing also cracked the WAC top-10 in several career categories. Dewing is fifth all-time in points with 77 while Bone is sixth with 73. Dewing's 29 career goals puts him sixth on the career list. Bone is fourth on the all-time assists list with 22.
In terms of winning, Bone and Dewing's class of 2019 has posted 52 career wins to date for the most wins by any Air Force men's soccer class in program history.
