Falcons in 17th after first day at Kingsmill Intercollegiate

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. --- The Air Force golf team is in 17th place after the first day of the annual Kingsmill Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill Resort, Sunday, March 25, in Williamsburg, Va. Utah Valley is in first place with a seven-over 287. Air Force shot a 306 on the first day of the 24-team event.
Senior Tate Tatom is tied fourth place after shooting an even-par 70. Three players, St. Joseph's Reed Winkler, Utah Valley's Ariel Elftman-Hanson and Old Dominion's Chad Hess are tied atop the leaderboard after carding a two-under 68.
The Kingsmill Intercollegiate continues with round two on Monday, March 26 beginning at 9 a.m. ET. The final round is Tuesday, March 27.
