
Falcons in 11th after day one at MW Championships

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force golf team is in 11th place after the first day of the Mountain West Golf Championships, Friday, Aug. 20, at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
UNLV, Colorado State and San Diego are all for first after a four-under par 284. After an opening round 305, the Falcons are one stroke behind 10th-place Utah State
Junior Bryant Falconello is the top Falcon, currently tied for 24th after a two-over par 74. Junior Andy Germann and sophomore Anson Kuznik each shot an opening round 76 to tie for 37th.
The second round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7 a.m. PT Saturday, April 21, in Bremerton, Wash. The final round is Sunday, April 22.
