
Falcons move up at MW Championships

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force golf team moved up to 10th place after the second day of the Mountain West Golf Championships, Saturday, April 21, at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
The Falcons shot a 303, a two-shot improvement over the first round, and jumped ahead of Utah State in the MW standings. UNLV, ranked 24th in the nation, leads the tournament at 572 (-4), holding a five stroke lead over Colorado State.
Sophomore Anson Kuznik is the top Falcon and is tied for 31st overall with a two-round total of 151 (+7). Junior Andy Germann is tied for 39th at 153 (+9).
The final round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7 a.m. PT Sunday, April 22.
