Crisostomo leads Falcons in day two

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – For the second straight day, junior Joseph Crisostomo led the Air Force golf team at the 13th annual Fighting Illini Invitational at the Olympia Fields Country Club, Saturday, Sept. 15, in Olympia Fields, Ill. One of the premier college tournaments in the nation, the 14-team field features 10 teams ranked in the top 25, including three of the top four, and two others that are receiving votes.

After an opening round 73, Crisostomo came back with a 74 (+4) in round two. At 147 (+7) for the tournament, he is tied for 46^th place. Crisostomo again started on the back nine and birdied two of his first four holes

Senior Tate Tatom shot a 75 in the second round and is at 154 for the tournament. Junior Josh Wu shot 77 and senior Andy Germann shot 79.

Top-ranked Oklahoma State leads the field with a 551 (-9). California, ranked 11^th in the nation, is second at 559 (-1). Alabama, No. 3 in the nation, is in third place at 567 (+7). Air Force is in 14^th place at 613.
