Falcons and Colonials meet in league series at Cadet Ice Arena

Air Force (11-9-4, 9-6-3 AHC) hosts Robert Morris (9-14-1, 8-9-1 AHC), Friday-Saturday, Jan. 25-26, at the Cadet Ice Arena. Friday's faceoff is set for 7:05 pm MT while Saturday's game will start at 5:05 pm MT.
Air Force is tied for second in the league with 21 points while RMU is tied for sixth with 17.

The Colonial has lost five of their last six, with the only winning being a 7-2 victory last Friday at Canisius. Senior Alex Tonge leads the team with 11 goals and 22 points. Junior Francis Marotte has a 3.15 GAA and a .900 saves percentage with a 9-13-1 record.

Air Force and Robert Morris have played 36 times and Air Force holds a 18-15-3. The Falcons are unbeaten in their last four against RMU and are 5-1-1 in the last seven against the Colonials. Last season, Air Force took three points in a regular-season series and then defeated the Colonials, 5-1, in the AHC championship game. In games played at the Academy, AF is 9-8 vs. RMU. The teams have met at the Academy since 2016 as the last five games have been played in either Pittsburgh or Rochester. Air Force has defeated RMU in the AHC championship game each of the past two seasons.
