Falcons to Battle WAC Rival Seattle, Simon Fraser, in Dual Action

Air Force swept a pair of duals from SU last season
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Air Force Academy men's swimming team begins the 2019 portion of its schedule when it heads to the Seattle metropolitan area to take on Western Athletic Conference rival Seattle University and Simon Fraser University in Federal Way, Wash. Friday-Saturday, Jan. 11-12. Action against the Redhawks and Clan will begin at 3:50 p.m. MT on Friday, while Saturday will see the Falcons take on just SU, beginning at 12 p.m. MT.
In addition to the men's team competing, the Air Force women will take on SU over the two days of competition as well.
The Falcons are 3-5-1 entering the weekend, most recently coming off a dual defeat at the hands of Cal Poly right before the winter break.
Last season against Seattle, the Falcons swept a pair of meets against the Redhawks in competition that was held down at Colorado College. Air Force won the first dual, 162-58, and the second dual, 174-46.
Following this weekend, Air Force will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 26, when they head back to California to take on WAC foe Cal Baptist in the final conference dual of the season. Action against the Lancers is set to begin at noon MT.
