Women's Swimming Heads to Washington to take on Seattle

The Falcons will dual the Redhawks over two days of competition
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Air Force Academy women's swimming team kicks off the 2019 portion of its schedule when it heads to the Seattle metropolitan area to take on Seattle University in Federal Way, Wash. Friday-Saturday, Jan. 11-12. Action against the Redhawks will begin at 3:50 p.m. MT on Friday, and 12 p.m. MT on Saturday.
In addition to the women's team competing, the Air Force men will take on SU as well over the two days, while also facing Simon Fraser on Friday.
The Falcons are 5-6 entering the weekend, most recently coming off an 0-2 weekend in California before the New Year. Air Force fell to Mountain West foe San Diego State, as well as Cal Poly, in a tri-meet.
Last season against Seattle, the Falcons swept a pair of meets against the Redhawks in competition that was held down at Colorado College. Air Force won the first dual, 190-33, and the second dual, 166-61.
Following this weekend, Air Force will be back in action next Saturday, Jan. 19, when they head up to Ft. Collins to take on Colorado State in the final MW dual of the season. Action against the Rams is set to begin at noon.
