LAST YEAR VS. ARMY WEST POINT
(Nov. 3, 2018) Army defeated Air Force, 17-14, in West Point. Army took a 14-0 lead into halftime. The Black Knights opened the game with a 21-play, 75-yard drive that took 12:55 off the clock to take a 7-0 lead. Sophomore Donald Hammond III came in at quarterback and led the Falcons to a scoring drive to close the third quarter to cut the lead to 14-6. Following an Army field goal, the Falcons scored on a six-yard touchdown and a two-point conversion run cut the lead to 17-14. Air Force got the ball back following an Army punt, but were stopped on fourth down near midfield. Army ran out the clock to end the game. The Black Knights had 286 total yards, including 242 rushing. Air Force had 322 total yards, including 197 passing. Hammond hit 7-15 passes for 120 yards and rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown to lead the Falcons.
THE LAST TIME IN FALCON STADIUM
(Nov. 4, 2017) Army defeated Air Force, 21-0, in Falcon Stadium. The shutout snapped Air Force's school-record 306 game scoring streak dating back to 1992. The Black Knights snapped a four-game losing streak to Air Force and won in Falcon Stadium for the first time since 2005. Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 265 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries to lead Army. The Black Knights had 392 total yards, all rushing, and didn't attempt a pass in the game. Air Force finished with 190 total yards, including 95 rushing. Tim McVey led the team with 39 yards rushing. The defense was led by Grant Ross, who recorded a career-best 12 tackles.

Army is tied for fifth in the nation with a 263.5 per-game average. Air Force has led the conference and ranked in the top five nationally each week this season. AIR FORCE LAST TIME OUT
Air Force defeated Utah State, 31-7, in Falcon Stadium to improve to 4-0 at home this season. The Falcons used one-yard touchdown runs from Timothy Jackson and Kadin Remsberg to take a 14-0 lead. Jake Koehnke added a career-long 57 yard field as time expired in the first half to push the lead to 17-0 at halftime. Utah State scored on a Jordan Love to Siaosi Mariner 27 yard touchdown pass to open the third quarter, but Remsberg added his second touchdown later in the quarter to push the lead to 24-7. Taven Birdow added a touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. Air Force rolled up 472 total yards, including a season-best 448 rushing. The Falcons held the ball for 45:43 and were 10-13 on third-down conversions. Utah State was held to just 128 total yards, including 14 rushing. Jackson led the Falcons with his third-straight 100-yard rushing game with a career-high 148 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Remsberg added 92 yards and two touchdowns while Birdow chipped in with 88 and a score. The defense was led by Demonte Meeks, who had eight tackles and a half sack.
