Men's Swimming & Diving Opens Home Regular Season

The Falcons will host Colorado Mesa and Colorado Mines alongside the women
USAFA, Colo. – The Air Force Academy men's swimming and diving team is back at home for the first time this regular season for a tri-meet with in-state foes Colorado Mesa and the Colorado School of Mines, Friday, Nov. 1 at the Cadet Natatorium. Action, which will run alongside the women who are also facing Mesa and Mines, gets underway at 5 p.m.
The meet will feature 16 events, two relays, two diving, and 12 individual swimming. The action will be streamed live on YouTube.
Air Force is coming off a 0-2 dual weekend, Oct. 18-19, as they fell to WAC rival Wyoming in a tight meet, 141-159, before dropping a dual to in-state foe Denver the very next day.
The Falcons have already competed against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks this season, knocking them off in Grand Junction at the Intermountain Shootout, 264-129. Meanwhile, last season against the Orediggers of CO Mines, the Falcons were victorious, 225-75.
Following this weekend, AF will be right back in the pool as they head down to Phoenix, Ariz. to compete in a two-day dual meet against conference rival Grand Canyon. The two-day competition kicks off at 3 p.m. MT on Friday, Nov. 8, and will pick back up at 11 a.m. MT, Saturday, Nov. 9.
