Air Force Men’s Tennis Competes At ITA All-American Championships Qualifier

Air Force men's tennis completed day one action of the qualifying round Monday at the 2019 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla. Juniors Paul Hendrix and Patrick Sklenka competed for the Falcons in doubles qualifier action.
The duo fell to Bar Botzer/Melios Efstathiou of Wake Forest 7-5, 6-2. The Falcons kept the match close in the first set, getting to a 5-5 score before Wake pulled away to take the set. The Demon Deacons went on to take the second set to close out the match.
The Falcons wrap up competition at the ITA All-American's and return to action Oct. 16 at the ITA Mountain Regionals in Denver.

Bar Botzer/Melios Efstathiou (Wake Forest) def. Patrick Sklenka/Paul Hendrix 7-5, 6-2
The duo fell to Bar Botzer/Melios Efstathiou of Wake Forest 7-5, 6-2. The Falcons kept the match close in the first set, getting to a 5-5 score before Wake pulled away to take the set. The Demon Deacons went on to take the second set to close out the match.
