Bautista Earns Academic All-Mountain West Honors

Jamie Bautista of Air Force men's tennis was named to the 2019 Academic All-Mountain West team, announced today by the conference office.
Bautista, a Civil Engineering major, posted a 3.08 cumulative grade-point average.
A league-record 1,021 student-athletes have been named to the spring 2019 Academic All-Mountain West team, the Conference announced today. Spring sports include baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, softball, women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field. The previous Conference record of 1,000 spring semester honorees was set during the 2017-18 academic year.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
